http://nwvdig.com/ The purpose of the Northwest Valley Digital Imaging Group (NWVdig) is to provide a knowledge-based venue wherein members and guest speakers share information on digital imaging techniques utilizing Photoshop. In addition, presentations and discussions pertaining to general photographic topics are also encouraged.

The Radiant Vista
The Radiant Vista website is a great site to find video and pdf style tutorials on photography and digital imaging. The contributors are Craig M. Tanner, Mark S. Johnson, and Matthew S. Gibson. The site has a great deal of information, and is very artfully put together.
Digital Photography Review
At this site you'll find all the latest updates in digital photography and imaging news, reviews of virtually all of latest digital cameras and accessories, discussion forums, and a digital camera buyers guide with side-by-side comparisons.
TheLuminous Landscape This is one of the most extensive learning sites and is published by Michael Reichmann. It covers available workshops and seminars from leading photographers, regular columns, tutorials on many subjects, an in-depth series titled the "understanding Series"(see the bottom of the home page), in-depth text-book lectures on digital and photography principles, and essays.
Regional Desert Wildflowers This desert watch (DesertUSA) provides articles and information regarding wildflower locations that are the best in the region. They also provide updates on these locations as to which sites are best to visit for the season.
The Art of Digital B/W

This series concentrates on all techniques, reviews and tips related to the art of B/W mostly from digital files. Their are eleven conversion technics presented by well-known authors.

Epson Print Academy The Epson Print Academy sponsors a one-day traveling program that is designed for advanced amateurs and professionals, visiting cities around the US and Canada. TimGrey.com This site provides a discussion of digital imaging, Most of the author's articles are linked to the journals they appeared in, such as, Digital PhotoPro, Outdoor Photographer and PCPhoto magazines. You can subscribe to his newsletter in which he answers e-mail. There is no charge to receive the e-mails, but for $35/year you gain an advantage that he will more likely answer your questions.
Megapixel.net Refers to itself as a digital camera review web magazine. It provides an extensive digital camea review by year of introduction, the latest announcements, galleries of photos, forums, classified ads, articles on camera basics, photography tips, peripherals, and general interest.

Marianne's Digital Imaging and Photoshop Fun

The site presents approximately 30 tutorials from Photoshop CS (about to upgrade to CS2) which can be downloaded as PDF files.
Macrophotography.org They describe themseles as "a non-profit community-driven information resource related to everything about Macro Photography. Become a member for Free and start adding News & Articles, Web Links, Downloads, Reviews".

Website for NAAP The National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP) is an active trade association and a leading resource for Adobe® Photoshop® education, training, and news. It is led by a team of Photoshop experts, authors, consultants, trainers, and educators whose focus is to ensure that NAPP members stay on the cutting edge of Adobe Photoshop techniques and ahead of their competition.
Steve's Digicams They present information on in-depth subjects, such as, camera, printer, and accessory reviews. Also, they provide the following-digicam dictionary, breaking news, buyer's guide, tech corner, photo of the day, and digital camcorders.

The site describes itself as follows: "PhotoLinks is the leading online photography directory serving the internet photography community since 1997. We serve over 400,000 visitors a month on a wide variety of photography topics in over 80 categories with more than 18,000 unique listings". 
Imaging Resource This site provides extensive information on "the latest digital camera reviews, with standard test photos, sample photo galleries, detailed measurements of shutter lag, cycle time, and battery life, and complete descriptions of the top digital cameras on the market. Give a listing of what the author considers the best in "Dave's Picks".
Photographyblog The UK-based site describes its function:
- to report on the latest and greatest photography news, both film and digital, both global and UK-based.
- to offer opinion on that news from the perspective of one person, Mark Goldstein.
- to allow you to add your comments on that news and opinion.
- to allow M. Goldstein to occasionally post my own photos and work-in-progress.
photo.net There is too much information on this site to mention. Each subject is presented in much depth. The tabs are: community, gallery, forums, equipment, learn, travel, shop and classified. Definitly a worthwhile site to explore and visit periodically for information.
Photoshop Tips and Tutorials This site,graphic-design.com, offers a large selection of photoshop tutorials for users, all free of charge.
Popular Photograph and Imaging This is the magazine's site. It is free and allows access to all but its latest monthly articles.It is a good place to search for information on a topic.
Rocky Mountain School of Photography The site describes the Rocky Mountain School of Photography, which provides instruction from skilled educators, and a range of courses to suit your objectives. They provide a technical foundation of photography - film, speeds, composition, light exposure as well as the business of building a portfolio and selling your work.
SantaFe Workshops The Santa Fe Workshops offers photography and Photoshop workshops for all levels of experience. Visit the information on the site about the registration process, campus, housing, meals and more.
Lepp Institute of Digital Imaging The site features books, quarterly journals, articles, reviews, and the workshops offerred through the Lepp Institute of Digital Imaging.  In addition to the educational aspects, the site also sells limited-edition prints of many of George Lepp's photographic images.
Photo Flex Lighting School This site is devoted to teaching photographic lighting principles and product expertise. You can learn how lighting equipment is set up to produce intended results when shooting portraits and products.
Friends of Arizona Highways The site is best described from their site: "Arizona Highways Photo Workshops are exciting photo adventures for small groups of film and digital photographers of all skill levels. We provide unique photographic experiences in Arizona, California, Colorado, Montana, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Wyoming and Northern Mexico. Landscape photography is our specialty, but we also offer outstanding wildlife and portrait workshops, as well as classroom-based sessions". It has excellent galleries the best photos of the photographers who lead the workshops.
Bair Art Editions This site provides over 20 tutorials on Photoshop. The authors state that the tutorials are not meant to be extensive but present techniques that are more commonly used. The tutorials are listed on the left of their home page.
photo-i The author of the site is Vincent Oliver, a British Photographer, who presents detailed reviews of new equipment. The reviews not only list the reviews but comments that pertain to his experiences with the equipment or similar equipment he has used over the years. He also presents news, interviews, imaging techniques and other subjects listed on the links to the left of the home page.
Adobe Photoshop News There are many techniques on using Photoshop CS2 presented on this site. Fortunately, the articles are not written by the same people who write their manuals.
Digital Outback Photo This site is yet another extensive site for information on digital photography and imaging. The tabs along the top of the home page are titled: handbook(a book actually with many chapters), stories(many subjects within), tehnique, reviews, resources, forums and books.
CleaningDigitalCameras.com The authors state that they " have put this site together to help educate the consumer on how to clean the CCD/CMOS sensor in their Digital SLR Cameras. The difference between this site and others is that these instructions are written by a Professional Camera Repairman, Curt Fargo, and Camera Repairs most published author, Larry Lyells". Both detailed instructions and photos are presented. See tabs on the left of the home page to begin.

Shortcourses The site offers e-books on digital cameras and digital photography. It's a digital photography resource for over 4,000,000 visitors a year.
BetterPhoto.com BetterPhoto.com states in their mission that they are "the worldwide leader in online photography education, offering an friendly resource for photographers who want to improve their skills, share their photos, and learn more about the art and technique of photography". Courses last about 8 weeks, providing a lesson a week from a distinguished list of writers and teachers of photography and digital imaging.
Infrared(IR)Basics for Digital Photographers This is a good site to begin learning about IR. At the end of the site there are links to other sites on galleries(5), suppliers(4) and information(9).
