Digital Image Entries

ENTRY FILE DIMENSIONS AND SIZE

The required maximum horizontal dimension is 1400 pixels and the maximum vertical dimension is 1050 pixels.  Smaller images are acceptable (1024 x 768).  If you submit larger kb image sizes, the entry form will resize them.  Limit the size to 800 kb.

Maximum width 1400 pixels.
Maximum height 1050 pixels.

The images will be judged on a black background and a stroke is allowed to separate the image from the background.   Boarders or frames are allowed with the exception of a Nature image.

Hunt Photography

Gary Farber of Hunt Photography has attended several of our Roundups and
will attend our Spring Roundup this year. He was at the fall roundup last
year and provided two 1TB disk drives as door prizes and had a booth to sell
photo equipment. His sales were good and this was apparently good for both
our members and for Hunt Photography. Gary is also willing to consider
sponsoring a speaker at a future ACCC Roundup.

If you are in the market for photo equipment, software, etc, you may want to
consider Hunt and perhaps make a purchase at the roundup or use the name
ACCC during the purchasing process. Success in business with ACCC members
is the best way to make the relationship work both ways. You might want to
forward this email to others in your club that are likely to attend the
roundup.

If you would like to be on the Hunt Photo email list to be notified of
specials, you may want to send him an email at digitalguygary@wbhunt.com.
It is your option, but you may wish to include a phone number also. If you
send him an email, tell him you are with ACCC.

Arizona Photographic Society Award: The Arizona Photographic Society will establish an award at Round Ups beginning with the Fall Round Up. This award will be given for “Picture of Distinction” in the Creative category.

Saguaro Camera Club Award: The Saguaro Camera Club plans on establishing an award for “Picture of Distinction” in the Nature category beginning with the Fall Round Up.
